Imported from Iceland in 1999; registration # IS1992186774. Registered in the United States, USIHC #US92101405. He is 14 years old and stands approximately 13.1 hands tall. Being four gaited, he crosses best with mares that are pacy or have a preference for tolt rather than trot.

1992 1st prize blue dun stallion (4 gaited), with 9.0 for trot and 9.0 for tolt. Vakar is exceptionally well trained, with many dressage movements and experience in shows, demos and on the trail. His offspring in both the US and Iceland are outstanding. One of his sons, Thrain, qualified for Landsmot with the highest scores in his class. Vakar has a very supple and loose back which will have a positive influence on almost any breeding program. Vakar has an awesome temperament, is very easy to handle, and a joy to ride.
